State Archives Search Room will be Closed and Public Services Suspended
May 1st, 2023Beginning May 22, all Pennsylvania State Archives staff will be engaged in the moving of offices and archival collections to a new facility at 1681 North Sixth Street in Harrisburg. During the move, which is anticipated to continue through early fall, responses to requests may be delayed by several weeks. If a request is a true emergency, please call 717-574-8252 and indicate that in your voicemail.
Please note that the State Archives Search Room will be closed and public services suspended. This does NOT include the State Records Center or staff.
We look forward to returning to full-service in late September. Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.
